Swearing in Georgia

In Georgia, swearing is very common among men.
- Most swear words have a sexual connotation.
 - The mother and the sister of  the opposite person are more insulted in swearing.
 - In most cases, someone is insulted who is not present or does not hear the insults. Swearing while        driving is common.
 - Sometimes the target of insults are objects such as computers, mobile phones, slot machines, etc.
 - Cursing by the characters and in front of the camera has been recorded many times. A well-known      example was the swearing-in of former Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

- Cursing someone who is present or hears insults means declaring war. In this situation, both sides are fighting.

- It seems that swearing is less common among teenagers than previous generations.
