Sukhishvili Or Georgian National Ballet

Dance is an important part of Georgian culture, as each region of Georgia has its own traditional dance and rhythmic movements. Georgian dance is a mixture of martial arts and sports, as well as balanced movements at celebrations. One of the major efforts to preserve Georgian dance and introduce it to the world has been made by the Sukhishvili family.
In 1970, the group became an academy. In 1985, with the death of Iliko, the group was led by Tengiz Sukhoshvili, who held the post until the end of his life in 2007.
Illa and Nino 
Today, the National Ballet of Georgia,საქართველოს ეროვნული ბალეტი, is a company whose grandchildren have kept the Sukhishvili grandchildren on.  inherit;">Iliko Sukhishvili is an art director and dance designer, and his sister Nino Sukhishvili is a director and costume designer for the Georgian National Ballet. Iliko and Nino are now inheriting the Georgian National Ballet with the same names as their grandparents.
